The Dolphin Triton PS Plus is an automatic pool cleaner designed by Maytronics, and is best suited for in-ground pools up to 50ft in length. It’s a versatile pool cleaner when it comes to the areas of the pool it’s able to clean thanks to it’s PowerStream mobility. This allows it to create maximum suction to the pools surface making it a master wall climber and allowing it to easily scrub the waterline.
The Dolphin Triton PS Plus is great when it comes to convenience. This is thanks to the fact it comes with Bluetooth connectivity, and the MyDolphin App. Through this you’re able to access features such as the weekly timer, delayed start mode, and cycle time select. The Triton PS Plus does not have a full bag indicator however.
The Dolphin Triton PS Plus uses an easily accessed, top loaded filter basket. This Filter basket comes fitted with both fine, and ultra-fine filters allowing it to filter whatever debris comes its way.
Just like many other Dolphin models, the Triton PS Plus comes equipped with the famous anti-tangle swivel cable. This does a great job at preventing the Dolphin Triton Plus from becoming tangle around its own cord during a cleaning cycle.
One downside of the Dolphin Triton PS Plus is that it’s not great at cleaning stairs. This is a bit of a let down for an automatic pool cleaner of this price.

Powerstream Technology
The Dolphin Triton Ps plus uses its patented Powerstream Technology to allow for maximum grip during vertical cleaning. This feature works by propelling water in multiple direction as the cleaner moves vertically up the pools wall, this in return creates a constant grip. This feature also allows for the Triton Plus to perform a more precise clean to remove any algae built up on the waterline.
Dual layered Filtration
The Dolphin Triton Plus uses two different filters types to aid in its cleaning, one ultra fine filter made out of pleated polyester designed for dust like particles, and one fine filter made out of mesh designed for larger bits of debris like leaves and sticks. Unlike Triton models where access to the filter was underneath the robot, the Triton PS Plus filters are removed from the top making cleaning the filters easier, and more efficient.
My Dolphin App
With this app you are able to connect the Dolphin to your phone using Bluetooth, this allows control your Dolphin Triton Ps remotely by using a button on your screen that acts like a joystick. This is great because you can easily direct the the cleaner to a spot if it needs extra attention. Through this app you can also set up weekly timer schedules so that the pool can be cleaned every 24, 48 or 72 hours.
Anti-tangle swivel cable
Anti-tangle swivel cable allows your Triton Plus to move around the pool with ease. This is great because you can confidently leave it to clean unattended without becoming tangled or stuck. The Triton Plus also has a 60ft long power chord so this enables it to be able to cover large pools.
CleverClean Technology
CleverClean delivers a smart and efficient clean using advanced algorithms for complete pool coverage. This technology enables the Dolphin Triton PS Plus to map out the optimal cleaning path, and even move and clean around objects. This is a great feature because you can be sure you're getting the most efficient and thorough clean.
Multiple Cleaning Cycles
The Dolphin Triton Plus feature two cleaning cycles, one being a rapid cycle that take up to one hour, this is a great cycle if you have guest come round at short notice or if your pool just needs a wee touch up. This feature however will only focus on the pools floors and will leave walls and stairs untouched. The second cleaning cycle will take up to 2.5 hours, this clean will target every area of your pool from walls, waterline and stairs.
