Polaris quattro sport quick review
The Polaris Quattro Sport is a robotic pool cleaner designed specifically for in-ground pools up to 60ft in length, and of any shape, and surface type. It features a modern looking design, and weighs a moderate 21lbs.
The Polaris Quattro comes equipped with an impressive 70ft power cable which is more than long enough for your average sized pool. This cable is made out of quality material, and attaches to the cleaner by a 360° swivel which prevents the cord from tangling. It also comes with a motion sensing remote which gives you the ability to control the cleaner simply by pointing the remote it the direction you want it go, however this features doesn’t work the best and could use some fine tuning.
The Quattro Sport does a great job cleaning the walls of the pool, and up to the waterline, thanks to its all-wheel drive system. This system is complimented nicely by 2 turbines at the bottom of the cleaner which help it create maximum suction over uneven surfaces. The Polaris Quattro Sport can struggle with cleaning stairs though.
The Polaris Quattro Sport does a great job at easily vacuuming up a wide variety of debris thanks to its powerful Vortex Vacuum technology, and extra wide 2 1/4″ suction inlet. This gives it a wider cleaning path, which results in a more efficient clean.
It has a really handy feature which allows you to select different cleaning modes to best suit how dirty your pool is. You can choose from either floor, floor/wall, or waterline only. This is great if you have unexpected guests and need to give your pool a quick clean.
It uses a well sized 5L dual layered debris canister much like the Dolphin Pool Cleaner Premier which is designed to handle large, fine, and ultra fine debris particles. However it can struggle containing a large quantity of micro particles like dust. This canister is easy to remove and clean, and features a full bag indicator so you know when it needs to be emptied.
To top it all off, the Polaris Quattro Sport comes with a caddy to help with transportation.

Polaris 9550 quatro sport user reviews
After reading over user reviews, it was clear to see that the Polaris 9550 Quattro Sport is definitely a highly recommended robotic pool cleaner.
Many users were really impresses with its wall climbing ability saying “It does a much better job cleaning to the waterline compared to their previous pool cleaner”. While another user said “I LOVE the power lift opinion. No more pulling on cords and ruining the machine or hurting my back”.
Here are some other positive things users said about the Polaris Quattro Sport “I have had two other popular robotic cleaners, however, this one is clearly superior. The debris container is super easy to empty and clean vs. a bag. The cleaning algorithm is superior as it covers the whole pool reliably, and does it faster than the others. It climbs the walls easily, and does not get stuck.
Now not every cleaner is without some negative feedback with one user saying “I still have yet to get the remote to connect to the unit so I can’t steer it and go to the areas that need attention the unit wanders around missing several spots so the remote would be nice to use. I don’t believe it’s worth the cost of the unit I had another one that was only $200 and did a much better job. I am contacting the seller to find out what they can suggest for the remote but I’ve had it for a few weeks and have not been able to use the remote and have tried to sync it several times”
Overall though the vast majority of costumers were very happy with the Polaris 9550 Sport’s cleaning ability.
